The company prioritizes employee safety as the top priority in employee management, with the concept that “every employee leaves home, comes to work, and returns to their family completely safe.”

Safety Policy

As Thai Stanley Electric Public Company Limited is concerned about the lives and health of our employees, this is deemed appropriate to implement occupational safety, health, and environmental management alongside employees’ regular duties.

Safety Committee

This is composed of top management representatives, elected employee representatives, and employee representatives appointed by the company. Currently, there are 35 members who are responsible for considering various policies and operational plans, conducting work surveys, reviewing projects, and reporting on various operations to the executive committee. The term is 2 years, with meetings held at least once a month. The Safety and Environment Department under the administrative division is the main unit driving and pushing various divisions to carry out activities in accordance with the company’s goals across all areas, as well as collecting safety statistics for presentation and improvement to ensure employees’ health and safety at work.

The company encourages employees to assess the risk of hazards in the workplace or from work practices by completing the (Hazard Identification and Countermeasure Registration Form (Hiyarihut Form). In this regard, the supervisor or responsible department will find appropriate solutions and make improvements as soon as possible.

Promoting safety knowledge

Safety Dojo

The company has established a Safety Dojo learning station to enhance safety understanding and awareness among all employee, including external contractors, and to support the goal of zero work-related accidents. This facility serves as a complete safety training and learning center, featuring simulated stations that demonstrate accident risks from various scenarios. The company regularly conducts training courses for employees at this center every month. Additionally, external organizations such as government agencies and educational institutions are welcome to visit and study the facility.

Safety Training

The company conducts safety training regularly every year, such as courses on forklift operation requirements, crane work, electrical work, chemical storage safety, emergency response, and safety officer training. Supervisor, Safety Officer Management and Stanley’s collaborative projects to build discipline and promote safe driving on the roads, etc.

Safety, Environment, and Energy Conservation Week Exhibition

This is an annual event to promote safety knowledge, featuring information boards, safety games, and safety demonstrations. It is organized in collaboration with relevant businesses.

SEE to School Activity

The Safety and Environment Department, in collaboration with the Stanley Thailand Foundation, organized an activity to promote safety, environmental awareness, and energy conservation in educational institutions within Pathum Thani province. The objective was to provide additional knowledge to educational institution staff on how to keep themselves and students safe in the event of a major fire, as well as to instill and raise awareness among children and youth about the dangers of fire, environmental conservation, and energy saving.

The activities include the donation of portable fire extinguishers, the donation of separate-exchange-money waste bins, the donation of prototype models for reusing waste materials instead of discarding them, education on waste sorting, energy conservation thru a sufficient lifestyle, the use of portable fire extinguishers, resuscitation thru CPR, and correct and safe fire evacuation.

Occupational health and working environment

The company prioritizes employee hygiene by emphasizing cleanliness in all areas, eliminating disease vectors monthly, providing hygienic facilities, and providing ongoing health education, such as information on various diseases and seasonal health care, via knowledge boards. Employee health checkups are also provided annually.

The company provides general health checkups and risk factor checkups for employees working in special areas, such as those exposed to loud noise, dust, and hazardous chemical fumes. Doctors and nurses are available daily for employees. The company conducts annual environmental inspections, including heat, light, noise, and chemical exposures. The company controls heat, noise, light intensity, and chemical exposure levels within the company according to established standards.
