Personnel Development and Training

Human resource development

The company uses the STARS Plan personnel management system from the Stanley Group as the main framework for developing the company’s workforce. That encompasses the process of potential development and promoting employee advancement, divided into 6 systems as follows:

  1. The hierarchical system to indicate the level of employe performance and used to determine fair and appropriate compensation.
  2. The position system clearly defines the duties, roles, authority, and responsibilities of each job position within the organization. Promotions and advancements will be evaluated based on criteria set by the Promotion Committee.
  3. The Job rotation is a change of department by changing job type to foster the creation and development of skills and ultimately lead to promotion.
  4. The evaluation system sets performance measurement criteria to be used in considering salary increases, bonuses, promotions, and positions. It also highlights employes’ strengths and weaknesses for further development. The company’s evaluation criteria are based on the principles of fairness, appropriateness, and acceptability.
  5. The compensation System: The compensation structure includes base salary, skill pay, position pay, and various allowances such as overtime pay, holiday pay, meal allowance, attendance bonus, travel allowance, shift allowance, etc. The company regularly increases salaries every year, with the following performance indicators for salary increases: government minimum wage adjustments, inflation rate (a measure of changes in the cost of living), and industry conditions.
  6. The system develops capabilities thru training by setting a minimum number of training hours per year for employes at each rank or job position.

Training

The company has established a personnel development policy with the goal that all employees must receive training in knowledge or skills related to their work, at least one course. The courses considered appropriate for employees include strategic training, departmental training, and self-development. Training can be both internal and external to the company, and employees are also sent for training and internships with Stanley Group companies abroad.
